Do security cameras need a monthly subscription?
Not with a PoE system. The cameras record to a recorder inside your home and you watch live or recorded video from your phone, with no monthly fee. Our 4-camera 4K package starts at $1,490 installed.
Can you hide the TV wires inside the wall?
Yes, in most drywall walls. Power and HDMI run inside the wall to a recessed outlet behind the TV, so nothing hangs below it. We use an in-wall power kit rated for in-wall use, never a regular power cord pushed through the wall. On brick, stone and fireplaces we use a low-profile raceway or channel instead. Mounting starts at $299 with the in-wall kit included.
Can you fix Wi‑Fi dead zones in older homes with plaster or brick walls?
Yes. Plaster, lath and brick block Wi‑Fi, so we place Wi‑Fi 7 mesh nodes from a coverage check and, where needed, connect them with Cat6 cable for full speed in every room. Mesh setups start at $749 including hardware, or $199 to set up a mesh kit you already own.
Do you build websites for local businesses?
Yes. Web design is half of what we do. A custom Flagship site (5 to 8 pages) is $2,900 and takes about 3–5 weeks; an Interactive Showcase with scroll stories or price calculators is $4,900 and takes about 5–8 weeks, depending on scope and feedback. You see a first live preview in about 2 weeks. Hosting & care is $79 or $149 a month. You own the code and the domain.
What is GEO, or AI-search optimization?
Generative Engine Optimization means building your site so AI assistants like ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini and Google’s AI answers can read and cite it: clear structured data (Schema.org), an llms.txt summary, consistent business details, and plain answers to the questions customers ask. It works alongside regular Google SEO and your Google Business Profile.
What does Senior & Family Tech Care include?
Unhurried help at home: setting up phones and tablets, simplifying the TV to one remote, printers, video calls and Wi‑Fi, and a large-print guide left behind. Single visits start at $149; monthly and quarterly family plans are available.
